Welcome back to Let’s Get Dressed, a weekly newsletter where I share my endeavors in fashion - what I’m wearing, shopping, trying on, and thinking about — to give you some inspiration for the week ahead. It’s my fashion diary, except I’m actually letting you look inside.
An easy but elevated travel outfit.
I’ve been on the hunt for a good non-athletic legging that I can wear traveling or under boots, and I found them! These are the Josie leggings from THE PARK and they don’t have a thick waistband like a usual legging would. So chic and comfortable, too! I paired it with knee high riding boots, my white Joe’s Jeans baby tee, a cashmere sweater from Favorite Daughter, and a coat from EAVES. I’m loving a riding boot right now for a Princess Diana inspired look, and if you’re someone who’s on the skinny jeans train right now, they’re truly the only acceptable thing to wear them with. This TikTok nails the theory.

A birthday suit!
I had a few back-to-back meetings my first day in the city (which also happened to be my birthday!) and it poured rain the whole day. A suit is the ultimate, no-fuss outfit for days like this one where you need to look good against all the elements. This one is from CLOSED (an old style sadly). Pro-tip if you’re layering a suit under a coat, I recommend going for a cropped fit blazer so that there’s more shape and structure around your waistline. I paired it with the new Loro Piana Loom bag which has quickly become my favorite bag this season. I have it in the L25 size, but I’m obsessed with the men’s L42 duffel size. A wishlist bag for sure.
And now, a birthday dress!
Night 1 of New York Fashion Week felt like the Olympics with an AG Jeans, YSL Beauty, and Prada cocktail, followed by a Veronica Beard dinner, and I got to do it all wearing this incredible Prada dress. I forgot to bring tights and it’s frigid out, so I Amazoned this pair to my hotel and was pleasantly surprised with them. Sure, I’ll probably get at most 3 wears out of them, but they were perfect in a pinch! I swoon for a sheer tight moment.
I turned a vintage Gucci dress into a top.
I had Saturday night free so I went to dinner with friends and wore this epic Gucci dress I found on the RealReal. It was originally a midi dress, but the fit didn’t suit my body so I decided to shorten it to a mini. While I can’t wait to wear it as a dress for a special occasion, I’ve been loving wearing it as a tunic with a pair of pants. Don’t be afraid to get creative with tailoring something if you know you’re going to love the new version of it more! I’ve found myself saying “I could never change x, y, z of this piece” and then it collected dust in my closet. I’ve worn this top 10x more than I would have as a dress.
A bonus pant.
How good are these corduroy pants from AG Jeans?! I stopped by their press preview in them - they’re so cool you could wear them with a black tee and belt and look effortlessly amazing. Also… there were sequin jeans AND skinny jeans at the preview for Fall/Winter 2025. Jeans are officially in their renaissance era.
Have a lovely weekend and see you next week <3 Until then, you can find me on Instagram and more of my closet favorites here.
